A pastor a while ago said he was watching his daughter sharing something with a friend. He then went on to say how our Father, God, is watching over us and saying, come on kids share your stuff. And again it sounded way better than this but I think you get the jist. I now find myself thinking of this every time I have to tell my grandaughters something. "How many times do I have to tell you not to......." Well it's probably way less than the times He has had to tell me not to do something.
Here are a few I wonder how many times God has said them to me.....Why don't you listen to me......Don't argue with me........It's for your own good......Because I said so......Because I love you......I know whats best for you
I've actually started laughing at myself after correcting one of my grandaughters. It's so easy to feel like a total hypocrite. I can't wait for the day that one of them calls me on this. Well maybe I can but it will be awesome.
